Renovations Begin for Seminole County State College

The Sanford/Lake Mary Campus at Seminole County State College is under rennovations. The 93,000 square foot building is part of the 14.1 million dollar project.  The work will be done in phases and the first section is expected to be completed by fall 2011.  Thats great news for the students of Seminole County State College.


This renovation will emphasis natural lighting, an atrium with skylights as well as a glass curtain wall.  The great thing about this rennovation is that campus will be using reclaimed water for irrigation that will assist the facility to secure the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification obtained through the U.S. Green Building Council.
